    The purpose of the Maricopa County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) shall be to fulfill the intent of the Superfund Amendment Reauthorization Act/Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA). The intention of EPCRA is to increase the public's knowledge of and access to information about the presence of hazardous chemicals in their local communities, including chemical releases to the land, air, and water.
