    July 4, 2020, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ West Valley Animal Care Center 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phoenix 85009

We are open for adoptions only from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 4. Due to increasing cases of COVID-19 and the need to avoid large gatherings, the “Calming the Canines” event scheduled for July 4th has been canceled. Fortunately, there are no major firework displays planned near the Durango campus, so the additional stress usually experienced should be minimal. This has always been a great event for staff, volunteers, and the public. This year, staff will provide the extra attention needed for the dogs and cats in our care.
