Peer Review

Who Audits the County's Internal Auditors?

In accordance with internal auditing standards, the County's audit department is audited by an external organization on a regular basis. This audit is called a peer review. The County's independent audit advisory committee selects the external peer review organization, and supervises the work. The Internal Audit Department continues to successfully demonstrate a high level of competency and professionalism, as evidenced by the peer review reports.
