Food Employees

    1. Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate

    2. At least one employee that has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service shall be a Certified Food Protection Manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an ACCREDITED PROGRAM.

    3. Food Service Worker Fee Waiver

    4. The Environmental Service Department issues fee waived Food Employee certificates to volunteers of eligible non-profit organizations or students in a culinary arts program.

    5. Food Service Worker Training

      The person in charge at the food establishment is responsible for ensuring food employees are properly trained.

    6. Limited Use Certificate

      The Limited Use Food Employee Certificate process provides the opportunity for those with a disability to obtain a Limited Use Certificate in order to perform specific determined tasks of low public health risk while working under the direct supervision of the establishment’s Certified Food Protection Manager.
